dilitentte

hi frens, this is ami from a mba institute in india pursuing his postgraduation in agribusiness management, after having done grad in veterinary stream. well all of us are art lovers but a meagre percentage of us take art as a full time profession. Hell lot of reasons can be attributed to this paradox, like lot of competetion n clutter in market, busy life, draconian time investment in producing a good work of art and many others.
but errors and omissions expected, all of toddlers in india grow up in to amateur dudes and damsels, gleaning variety of skills in traditional and digital arts . Sources of learning are multifarious our granny, mom ,sis( why only fairer sex is good at traditional arts of embroidery, stitching , rangoli,painting......................and a lot of other trivial arts). Then most of us shift to so called professional and well paying areas like medicine( as i did),engineering and commerce, leaving arts for low scorers in general as per the indian mindset.

it s shocking that most of public and private academic institution do not provide a academic course in fine arts as they dont have infrastructure in term of manpower.
Then many of us grow up as doctors, engineers and wat not, but with a latent artist in our soul that awakens off and on .No doubts that in many cases it dies also.and with it diminishes the creativity which one excercise in daily life.with it diminishes the sheer joy of creating a masterpiece, which everyone of us is capable of producing...................................
but ya i see that thee is a paradigm shift albeit slowly.more of people pursuing specialization in fine arts as the per square inch prices are soaring like any thing and people investing in art work as securities( to mention a few.......tyeb,husain,late shergill and many more. lets hope the trends continue and we see more of splendid creation by younger genre performing much needed blood transfusion in indian fine art arena........
